Chris Pinkham, 53, of Perry, Oklahoma was born on March 9, 1960 in Greenville, Michigan and died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma He graduated from OSU in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After a 50ft diving accident in July of 1974 at the age of 14, left him a quadriplegic he was known for never giving up or had the attitude that many in his situation who are paralyzed do. Chris enjoyed working on computers, reading the Bible, old time rock and roll, old country plus praise and worship music. He was an avid OU fan, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his dog Sammy. He was a member of the LakeviewTrinity Fellowship in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Chris accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1986 when Yvonne Vaughan, who he considered his mother, leaded him to be saved. After he was saved he used his faith and beliefs in the Lord to help many others through prayer and counseling through their problems and lead others to the Lord. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Lee Tarrant will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of donors choice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Chris is survived by his fianceacutee Denise Vaughan of Perry, Oklahoma niece, Heather Wilson Krull of Carthage, Texas nephew, Travis Wilson of Carthage, Texas two great nephews, Eastan Krull and Ian Harned of Carthage, Texas.
