Chester Clarkston

Chester L. Clarkston, 89, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of William Henry and Lillie May Blevins Clarkston. He was born on December 3, 1916 in Loco, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Perry Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed riding horses, working in the yard and his flower beds. Chester worked at the Perry Sale Barn and oilfields in and around Shawnee. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Chester is survived by one sister, Artie Brunson of Garden City, Kansas; a cousin, LaDonna Harbour, of Perry, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews, care giver and special friend, Pam Johnson of Perry, Oklahoma, and good friend and neighbor, Hazel Stone of Perry, He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
