Catherine Brorsen

Catherine Brorsen, 86, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Harlie and Helen Hoss Loveless. She was born February 13, 1919 at Great Bend, Kansas and died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Catherine moved to Noble County with her family at an early age and attended Rose Hill, Lilly and Perry schools. She and Edwin Brorsen were married July 23, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She and her husband made their home northeast of Perry where they farmed and raised cattle. Catherine was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Perry, the Perry Study Club and the Noble Homemakers Club. She enjoyed embroidery, baking, reading and collecting angels. Committal services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Perry. Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Catherine is survived by three daughters, Karen Bryant and her husband, Norman, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kathy Cooper and her husband, Sam, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Doris Jean Price and her husband, Harold, of Miami, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Nikkie Ann Cooper, of Ft. Morgan, Colorado, Norman Christopher Bryant and his wife, Janet, of Loveland, Colorado, Monica Lynn Sloan and her husband, Jason, of Annadale, Virginia, Steven Edwin Bryant and his wife, Lisa, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Catherine Irene Adams and her husband, Brian, of Wichita, Kansas; three great-grandchildren, Nickie Graham and Brian Graham, both of Loveland, Colorado and Hunter Colin Sloan, of Annadale, Virginia; and one brother, Harold Loveless and his wife, Lorene, of Perry, Oklahoma.
