Cassie Taylor

Cassie Mae Taylor, 65, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Leroy and Anna Mae Scott Copeland. She was born on March 22, 1942 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. In April 1993, Cassie married Donald Taylor in Perry, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Mt. Olive AME Church. Cassie enjoyed playing bingo, working crossword and jig saw puzzles and crocheting. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Mt. Olive AME Church. Pastor Beula Lewis will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive AME Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Cassie is survived by her husband, Donald Taylor of Perry, Oklahoma; four sons, Harold Dale of Los Angeles, California, Chris Dale of Graham, Washington, Randall Dale of Perry, Oklahoma and Shawn Dale of Hong Kong, Japan; four daughters, Greshon Dale of Columbus, Georgia, Gay Dale Lewis of Suisun, California, Stacia Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska and Mary Ann Banks of Wichita, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Copeland of Perry, Oklahoma and Leroy Copeland of Colorado Springs, Colorado and a host of nieces and nephews.
