Carolyn Sue Gottfried, 68, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Harry William and Susan Audra Woods Boyce. She was born on April 7, 1941 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Stillwater Medical Center. She was a 1959 graduate of Morrison High School. On May 1, 1963, Carolyn married Cecil Edward Gottfried in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her hobbies included playing cards, dominoes and drinking coffee. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion in Grace Hill Cemetery. Rev. Stanley Bloom will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Cecil Gottfried two daughters, Sandra Kay Wade and her husband, Donald, and Cela Sue Shaddy, both of Stillwater, Oklahoma three grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Tinker and Devin Robert Tinker, both of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Carl Edward Gottfried, Jr. of Perkins, Oklahoma one brother, Gene Boyce of Stillwater, Oklahoma and three sisters, Joann Austell, Levena Young and Lorena Smallwood, all of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by one son, Carl Gottfried, Sr. her parents, Harry and Susan Boyce and two sisters, Helen Hornberger and Jerri Branson.
