Carol Leah Reim of Garber, Oklahoma has passed away. She was 89 years old. She was born on May 24, 1930 in the Sinclair oil field south of Garber. She was the daughter of Simon Tyler Wyatt and Clara Louise Pope Wyatt. Carol attended school at the Sinclair oil field until 6thgrade. She finished school in Garber, graduation in 1948.
She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber. She was baptized at St. Paul’s and confirmed in Garber. She married Herman Omer Reim on July 4, 1948. Together they raised three boys.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, husband Omer, and brother Simon Tyler Wyatt.
Carol leaves behind her son Kelly Reim of Garber, son Kirby Reim and his wife Sue of Billings, and son Randall Reim and his wife Cathy of California, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a sister Jane Kapka of Enid.
Funeral services for Carol will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Mark Hein will officiate. Burial will follow at the Garber Cemetery. Casketbearers for the service will include Rudy Simic, Jay Russell Reim, Brad Wyatt, Ron Cooper, Mike Kapka, and Randall Petr.
Friends and family are welcome to stop by the Dugger Funeral Home of Garber to pay their respects on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Donations can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber in Carol’s memory.
