Carol Myrth Bryant Curby, 91, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, formerly of Billings, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Elmer and Elsie Waite Bryant. She was born on January 20, 1919 in Billings, Oklahoma and died June 29, 2010 at the Via Christi Village in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Carol was a 1937 graduate of Billings High School. On August 26, 1937, Carol married Donald Lee Curby in Enid, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2001. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Billings and the bridge club. Carol enjoyed cooking, fishing, writing poetry and word puzzles. She loved spending time with her son, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Union Cemetery in Billings, Oklahoma. Kent Reubell will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Billings. Memorials may be made to the Billings Christian Church or the Billings Ambulance Fund in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 41, Billings, Oklahoma 74630. Carol is survived by one son, Mike Curby of Kaw City, Oklahoma two grandchildren, Christy Hebb and her husband, Matt, of Arlington, Texas and Scott Curby and his wife, Michelle, of Austin, Texas and two greatgrandchildren, Sage Hebb and Baylor Hebb, both of Arlington, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Curby two children, Douglas Scott Curby and Donna Lynn Curby her parents, Elmer and Elsie Bryant one brother, Leo Bryant and one sister, Twila Shoemaker.
