Brenda Scott

Brenda Sue Scott, 47, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Bill Ray and Leota LaVonne Rust Thomas. She was born on August 7, 1959 in Cherokee, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at her home. She and Couie Eugene Scott were married on July 31, 1981 in Hunter, Oklahoma. Brenda was a homemaker. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 in the Price Cemetery at Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Rev. Todd Turner will officiate. Services will be under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Garber, Oklahoma. A family visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Garber Fire Department in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738. In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by two sons, Corie Ray Scott, of Crescent, Oklahoma and Couie Sparks, of Owasso, Oklahoma; three daughters, Barbara Chaney and Jaala Scott, both of Garber, Oklahoma and Dana Day, of Indiana; one grandson, Dylan Chaney, of Garber, Oklahoma; seven granddaughters, Taryn Chaney, of Garber, Oklahoma, Kyleigh Scott and Kaylin Scott, both of Crescent, Oklahoma, Jamie Day and Amber Day, both of Indiana; and Cionna Sparks and Caleaha Sparks, both of Owasso, Oklahoma; three brothers, Rex Thomas, of Manchester, Oklahoma and Lonnie Thomas and Jerry Thomas, both of Nash, Oklahoma; and one sister, Ellen Jo Hines, of Wakita, Oklahoma.
