William F. Stowers "Bill" of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, son of Everett and Ida Koch Stowers. He was born on October 2, 1933 in Diamond, Chase County, Kansas. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 "Lucky Son of a Gun!" at Willow Haven Nursing Home. Bill married Lois N. Windell on July 1, 1955. Lois preceded him in death, and he later married Betty Lockwood-Howe on October 11, 1996 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
Bill attended the Christian Life Church in Tonkawa, and was member of the Lutheran Church in Garber. He attended school through the 8th grade. He was a member of the United States Army, and holds a master degree in Metallurgical Science. Bill owned and operated B&L Foundry Inc., which he started in his garage at 407 Barnes in Tonkawa, OK. He was also a farmer and raised Herford Cattle.
Bill is survived by his wife Betty, who resides at Willow Haven Nursing Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephews, stepchildren, and extended relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and brother John Stowers.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Garber Cemetery at 2p.m. with the Reverend Scott Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
