Beverly Umlauft

Beverly Jean Umlauft, 76, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of John and Zora Mills Herr. She was born August 8, 1926 at Logansport, Indiana and died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Logan Hospital in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2003 in the chapel of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Beverly was married to Harold J. Umlauft in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 11, 1962. Her husband preceded her in death on January 3, 1998. She worked as a cook at Kent County Hospital in Grand Rapids until she retired in August, 1981. She moved to Perry from Grand Rapids. Beverly was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Debra K. and Gareth W. Austin, Perry, Oklahoma; one son, Stanton M. Umlauft, Bay Point, California; one grandson, David M. Papp, Stillwater, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Melissa D. Papp, Morrison, Oklahoma; two great-granddaughters, Alyssa J. Papp, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ashlynn R. Papp, Morrison, Oklahoma; one brother, William Herr, Grand Rapids, Michigan; and one sister, Joan Kooiker, Mecosta, Michigan. In addition to her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her mother and father, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
