Beverly Bay

Beverly Jean (Vinson) Bay, 90, of Perry, Oklahoma, was born on July 19, 1927 in Pasadena, California to Fredrick and Vera Vinson. She went to walk with her Savior in heaven on January 12, 2018 at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, OK.
Beverly married Glenn Lavern Bay on December 7, 1947 in Glendale, California where they started off their loving family. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1990.
Along with her husband she owned and operated Bay's Liquor Store for many years. She also volunteered a lot of her time to many diverse groups and organizations. She was a member of the Oklahoma Home and Community Education organization for over 64 years, a volunteer with the Perry American Legion and Perry Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, has served on the Noble County Fair Board for the past 14 years and on the Election Board for many years. Beverly was dedicated to her community as well as her church. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perry Oklahoma where she also dedicated a lot of her time. She oversaw all of the funeral dinners, helped with the luncheons, and sang in the choir in the alto section. Beverly, known for being an amazing seamstress also made the banners and costumes which have been used in parades and drama presentations. In her spare time Beverly enjoyed cooking, sewing, taking care of her loved ones and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Her family was her life and she cherished every moment she had with them.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from the hours of 10:00am-8:00pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018. The family will be there from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services have been entrusted to the care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory are her children, Allen G. Bay and his wife Karen of Perry, Oklahoma, Larry D. Bay and his wife Jackie of Dorrance, Kansas, Vernon L. Bay and his wife Debbie of Perry, Oklahoma; and Carolyn Clark and her husband David of Perry, Oklahoma; her sister, Nancy Hoendy of Emmett, Idaho; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; along with numerous other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Lavern Bay; parents, Fredrick and Vera Vinson; and her brother, Fredrick Vinson Jr.
