Betty Davis

Betty Jean Davis, 83, Passed away on August 8, 2018. Betty was born on November 29, 1934 to Ida Lucile Baird and Earl Schaeffer in Liberal, Kansas. Betty was raised by her grandparents David and Bertha Baird in Liberal, Kansas.
Betty Married Wilbur (Dave) Allen Davis on November 20, 1959 and together they had three daughters; Dana Sue Pitre, Kimberly Renee Davis-Clement, and Samantha Kay Davis.
Betty lived in Perry, Oklahoma for more than 40 years. She was involved in the Cherokee Strip Arts Company and owned a gift shop in downtown Perry called Two Friends. She also served as a teacher and cook for Christ Lutheran School.
Betty is survived by her daughters; Dana Pitre and husband Pete, Kimberly Davis-Clement, Samantha Davis and husband Steve Bay. Betty had five grandchildren; Dustin Cochrum, Jesse Campbell, Richard Beier, Timothy Beier and Dakota Davis-Keith. She had seven great grandchildren; Zachary Cochrum, Floyd Johnson, Jakoby McCrary, Robert Beier, Mackenzie Beier, Serenity Beier, and Kaden Beier. She is also Survived by her best friend Carrol Piel.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Allen Davis, her parents Ida Lucile Baird and Earl Schaeffer, her grandparents Bertha and David Baird, and cousin Ann Kilgore.
She will be missed.
