Augusta Moder

Augusta R. Moder, 83, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Harvey R. and Elsie C. Periman Fritchman. She was born August 8, 1923 at Stillwater, Oklahoma and died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry. Augusta was married to George O. Moder on February 14, 1941 in Perry, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1998. She had resided in California before moving to the Perry community 60 years ago. Augusta was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, making quilt tops and cooking. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion in Grace Hill Cemetery. Rev. Roger Dunn will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry. Memorials may be made to Judith Karman Hospice, the American Cancer Society or the Calvary Baptist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Augusta is survived by three daughters, Georgie Caldwell and her husband, Robert, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Becky Wolfe and her husband, Homer, of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Gayla Folsom, of Edmond, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Landy Shane Wolfe, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Shandelle Recker and her husband, Ryan, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Misty Peery and her husband, Dean, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma and Pebbles Folsom, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, Lexus Wolfe, of Weatherford, Oklahoma; three brothers, Bert Fritchman and his wife, Susie, of Palmdale, California and Elden Fritchman and his wife, Eva, and James Chamness and his wife, Ellen, all of El Dorado, Kansas; and one sister-in-law, Ellen Fritchman, of Perry, Oklahoma.
