Arnold Prucha

Arnold O. Prucha, 87, of Red Rock, Oklahoma, was the son of Jerry Oscar and Irene E. Kopp Prucha. He was born on July 19, 1925 in Red Rock, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Green Valley Nursing Home, Perry, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, making live traps, playing Chinese marbles and dominoes. He never lost a game of Chinese marbles. Arnold also enjoyed playing cards, his favorite games being pitch and gin rummy. He loved raising cattle and working on his farm, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. On August 3, 1950 Arnold married his sweetheart and best friend Emma Ophelia Glass in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Arnold was an honorary member of the FFA chapter in Red Rock, Oklahoma. He was also a member of the Bohemian Cemetery Board as well as original member of the Marland Water Board serving from 1962 to 2010. Arnold was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Pastor Chris Short will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Arnold is survived by his wife, Emma of the home two sons, David Arnold Prucha and his wife, Nita of Duncan, Oklahoma, Dan Prucha and his wife, Renae of Red Rock, Oklahoma three grandchildren, Jennifer Hall and her husband, James of Red Rock, Oklahoma, Kirk Prucha, Clint Prucha both of Duncan, Oklahoma one niece, Valerie Prucha of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
