Anna Matal

Anna Ans M. Matal, 69, of Billings, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Corneilus Pons and Emma Maria Vandegraf Vermeer. She was born on January 31, 1941 in Rotterdam, Netherlands and died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Oklahoma. Anna married Harold Dean Matal on September 4, 1959 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2007. Anna enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially their sporting activities when they were younger. Annas hobbies included crocheting and knitting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Eastern Star and Master Life. Anna will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend, who enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Billings, Oklahoma. Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Billings, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Anna is survived by three sons, Frank Pons Matal of Owasso, Oklahoma, Timothy Owen Matal and Sean James Matal, both of Billings, Oklahoma four daughters, Clara Yvonne Matal of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Michelle Maria Camarillo of Bakersfield, California, Monique Mabel Archuletta of Fountain, Colorado and Theresa Maria Hempfling of Enid, Oklahoma twentyfour grandchildren one brother, Dick Vermeer of Delft, Holland, Netherlands and one sister, Henny Vermeer of Delft, Holland, Netherlands. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Matal, her parents, Pons and Emma Vermeer, one brother and one sister.
