Anna Hanyka

Anna Bertha Hanyka was born August 19, 1921 in Perry, Oklahoma to Hinrich "Henry" and Karlein (Karcher) Hamann. She passed away Thursday, April 02, 2015 in Perry, Oklahoma at Green Valley Nursing Home.

On September 14, 1946, Anna was united in marriage with the belated, George Hanyka. Anna and George made their home in Billings, Oklahoma from 1946 until 2008. Anna was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Perry. She enjoyed taking care of her pets and making sure her yard was well manicured.

Anna is survived by her son, James Hanyka and his wife, Deborah of Perry, Oklahoma; one niece, Barbara Bright of Perry, Oklahoma; and three nephews, Ronald W. Hamann of Perry, Oklahoma, Steve Hamann of Garden City, Kansas, and Dwight Hamann of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hinrich and Karlein; her husband, George Hanyka; and two brothers, Wilhelm Hamann and Reinhold "R.H." Hamann.

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2015 from 12pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 10am, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Grace Hill Cemetery Pavilion with Reverend William Metz officiating.
