Anna Bell DeHaas, 79, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Thomas E. and Annie Bell Bruner DeHaas. She was born on December 21, 1925 in Pawnee, Oklahoma and died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the Manor House Assisted Living Center in Garber, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Rev. J. Randal Hackworth will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Church of God in Bristow, Oklahoma. She worked as a seamstress for Miss Elaine Garment Factory retiring in 1988. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Community Church of the Plains Building Fund in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738. Anna Bell is survived by one brother, Harry DeHaas and his wife, Grace, of Garber, Oklahoma and two nephews, Orville DeHaas of Perry, Oklahoma and Edward DeHaas of Lewisville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Annie Bell, one brother, E.L. DeHaas and one sister, Flora Ida Dehaas.
