Allan Stoddard

Allan L. Stoddard, 62, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, was the son of Leland and Lena Jones Stoddard. He was born on September 1, 1944 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Gene Herndon will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Stroke Division in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Allan married Katherin Ann Gilpen on April 28, 1974 in Mustang, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Philbrook Art Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was on the board of directors of the Washington Irving Museum and enjoyed music and antiques. Allan served his country as a member of the National Guard and United States Army. Allan is survived by his wife, Katherin Stoddard of the home; one brother, Don Stoddard of Perry, Oklahoma and two sisters, Lois Shaw of Talihina, Oklahoma and Betty Rudd of Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
